Blizzard or Bust

Woken up violently to a fire alarm Monday morning the 31st in our hotel, we soon found out that the blizzard had indeed made it's way into Rapid City. The winds were sustained at 30mph or more and blowing snow was causing the visibility to hover right around zilch. We ate a hearty hotel breakfast and then decided we had no choice but to test the capabilities of the subaru in the blizzard. A few of the major routes that we were going to take were closed so we had to take a detour farther west into Wyoming to get out of the storm. The first few hours were quite rough, but eventually we were met with sunny skies. Melting slush on the roads still made travel slow, so our trip took about twice as long as it should've, around 12 hours. We arrived at our house outside of Wolf Point on a road unknown to the GPS.

Might need a car wash
