Our trip began when we departed at 3:07 PM Eastern time from Ada, OH. The first crucial decision of the trip was deciding how many snacks to bring and whether to eat a chewy bar or rice crispy treat first (went with rice crispy). With a full tank of gas and a full heart of love we set off to the great unknown land to the South (aka KY). The trip was plagued with several heavy thunderstorms which caused a wreck on the North-bound lane of I-75. As Dierks Bentley would say, our lane was free and easy and we traveled safely at the speed limit which is 70 in Kentucky. We were passed by five NASCAR tractor trailers which had just left the Sunday race. Most of the trip was accompanied by music including selections from the Bee Gees, Brandon Heath, T Swift, and One Direction. We stopped for gas outside of Louisville and also stopped at a Dick's to see if they had wiffle equipment in stock. The store was very large and had so much there was almost too much to look at. As Josh was looking at women's shorts, I went in search of wiffle balls. I purchased a bat/ball combo and four extra balls. We hit the road again and arrived safely in the rolling hills of Central City.
